his is the latest jaw-dropping trick from extreme artist Eskil Ronningsbakken, who enjoys nothing more than precariously perching on the edge of a clifftop or walking on a tightrope between two hot-air balloons.

himself as an 'educated balancing performer', and has been honing his death-defying skills since the age of five, with circus troupes around the globe.

I am interested in European Art and how the idea of ecstasy is produced in many styles: sensuality (Lippi), realism (Caravaggio), the macabre (Bosch) and the metaphysical (Dalí).
A left-field flavour, elaborate stage props, powerful imagery that confronts the viewer, that looks you direct in the eye and dares you to look back.
Nothing is sacred, religious under/overtones, the hint of deliciously dark things beyond mere fetish – delicious, modern portraiture.
